
The Tk and Kindergarten classes enjoyed their easter egg hunt this afternoon. Thank you to 5th grade for helping hide all the eggs for the students.


Fifth graders had Yolo visitors come into their classes to talk to them about 6th grade life at Yolo.


Barrington first graders are so proud of themselves for doing so well in AR. They get so excited when they can see the growth they have made in such a short time.


Happy Friday Eagles. It was beautiful weather today for our kick off assembly introducing the character trait Growth Mindset. Kinder students in Mrs. Paynes class sang a song for us, the teachers played a game showing growth mindset and we all had a great time together. Go EAGLES!


Students were greeted this morning with encouraging words from staff and students to do their best on the test. The campus also had posters the students made with words of encouragement.





Reminder that tomorrow, Tuesday, March 29th starts our state testing for 3-5 grades. Please make sure your student comes to school on time. They are well rested, having eaten breakfast and ready to do their best on the test. Good Luck STUDENTS!!!


We had beautiful weather for picnic day today. The students love to eat outside with their friends.

Today is Brain Break Day at Barrington. Students enjoy a multitude of different fun activities throughout the day like art, kickball, drawing, games, puzzles and dance parties.


Today was the Barrington AR Party. All the students that made their AR goal enjoyed a Disney theme party. The got Mickey ears, a treat, played bingo and won prizes. Congratulations to all our students!

WOW Science built rockets with 5th grade students from Barrington today. They loved it when they launched and they went about 30 feet in the air!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Students in TK and Kindergarten were so excited to build leprechaun traps and see if they could trap that tricky leprechaun.


Students that made their AR goal for the second trimester revived an invitation to the AR celebration. The theme is Disney and the invitation looked like a Disneyland ticket. They loved it!

Today was crazy hair day!





James Jackson in fifth grade has been selected to represent Hurd Barrington as our Every Student Succeeding award recipient. The school administration and his teacher, Mrs. Stevens, have nominated him for succeeding beyond expectations and winning the hearts of our school. Congratulations James!

Read Across America week kicked off on Monday. Each day students will dress up to represent a book from Dr. Seuss. Monday wear pj’s for the Sleep Book from Dr. Seuss
