It is Kindness Week at Barrington. Mrs. D has a ton of fun lunch activities for students to do during Kindness Week. Students can play games, get prizes, play kindness bingo and get coloring pages to take home. All of these activities reinforce kindness.
Barrington celebrated our students that were reclassified with a drive through celebration. They got to walk the purple carpet, get a certificate, and a gift. Congratulations students, we are so proud of you!
Barrington had it’s first Elective Hour. Students could sign up for an hour of elective time. They do art, robotics, theater, and many other fun activities.
We had beautiful weather for our character trait kick off assembly. This months character trait is Caring. Teachers played a game where they passed around kindness. We had a special counselor week tribute to Mrs. D our wonderful counselor.
First grade learned about coding with WOW Science. The Bee Bots are a fun way to introduce coding to younger students. They loved it!
Happy Counselors Day to Mrs. D. Barrington is very lucky to have her.

Today Barrington had our character trait assembly. Students were awarded for showing fairness.
WOW Science did a lesson on shade today with the kindergartners. They had to construct a structure that would provide shade from the suns rays and protect their ice. Seems like we have some future scientists at Barrington.
