The Back to School Festival was a fun time for students and their families.
Reminder that we have Early Release Days on May 23, 24, and 25 and Minimum Days on May 26 and 27 at all sites.
Barrington students celebrated teaching their third trimester AR goal today with a Luau party. They had a yummy ice cream sunday, played games, got prizes and had a photo booth. We all had a great time!
Asp had a goodbye party for the 5th graders that will be going to Yolo next year. We will miss you guys!

Community members put up green ribbons around campus for Mental Health Awareness Month.
The last SEL kick off assembly was a ton of fun. Mrs Petersen’s class did the Friday announcements. We talked about what it means to be a leader, our character trait for May. We picked our character trait for Field Day, gave some awards and enjoyed being together as one nest in the beautiful weather.

Students from all grade levels went on a campus tour visiting all the classrooms on campus today ti look at the projects, displayed work, and art that the students have done throughout the school year.
Students loved watching the life cycle of the butterflies and releasing them.

The Tk and Kindergarten classes enjoyed their easter egg hunt this afternoon. Thank you to 5th grade for helping hide all the eggs for the students.
Fifth graders had Yolo visitors come into their classes to talk to them about 6th grade life at Yolo.
Barrington first graders are so proud of themselves for doing so well in AR. They get so excited when they can see the growth they have made in such a short time.
Happy Friday Eagles. It was beautiful weather today for our kick off assembly introducing the character trait Growth Mindset. Kinder students in Mrs. Paynes class sang a song for us, the teachers played a game showing growth mindset and we all had a great time together. Go EAGLES!
Students were greeted this morning with encouraging words from staff and students to do their best on the test. The campus also had posters the students made with words of encouragement.
Reminder that tomorrow, Tuesday, March 29th starts our state testing for 3-5 grades. Please make sure your student comes to school on time. They are well rested, having eaten breakfast and ready to do their best on the test. Good Luck STUDENTS!!!
